In the lime arena, NEN Companies processes and markets Carbide lime from abandoned or active acetylene gas facilities. Our products are typically used for waste water treatment or for soil stabilization.
Currently we recycle 3,000,000 pounds per month in Louisiana and California.

80,000,000 pounds of carbide lime from Air Liquide's Acetylene gas operation in Port Allen, LA. This material was recycled and sold over an 18 month time period in 2004 and 2005. Inserts show the same site once cleared in November 2006.
